Rally for Cesar : Help stop his deportation!
0Time is running out for Cesar! On July 21st, Cesar was pulled over by a police officer over a minor traffic violation. Instead of giving him a ticket, the officer arrested Cesar for driving without a license and ICE detained him soon after. Today marks Cesar’s 60th day in detention; away from his family and friends. Every day that Cesar wakes up, he wonders if it will be his last day in the United States.
On Wednesday, October 19th at 2pm, we will show ICE that Cesar has the support of his community and that we will fight for him until he is released and his deportation be stopped. But we need you there with us! ,will you join us as we take action to stop Cesar’s deportation?
WHEN: Wednesday October 19
2:00pm-3:30pm
WHERE: Detroit ICE Headquarters
333 Mt. Elliott St.
on corner of W.Jefferson
Detroit, MI 48207
President Obama has said deporting undocumented youth is not a priority, but if that’s true, why is Cesar still detained?
If we don’t take action now, Cesar could be deported back to a country he no longer remembers. As a DREAM Act student who has proven to be a contributing member of his community, it is unacceptable that ICE wants to deport him. Cesar needs us and we know we can count on you to be there for him every step of the way.
Join us on Wednesday as we demand that ICE release Cesar back to a community that loves him. Bring your friends and family!
See you there!
